Thanks for the link.though unfortunately the only link I tried on that site (the one for the rulebooks.yikes books plural, may be missing more than I thought) didn't work. The downloaded file wouldn't open I swear though that there was a pdf I saw online before.back when first looked at silver tower (before got parts of the original game) because had it on an app via my phone. But as said.don't recall WHERE I saw this.and I don't seem to have it on the phone anymore though I don't even recall deleting it.maybe I just DREAMED that I had it Is there a contact info for GW? Does anyone think they would send me a copy of the rules if I offered to pay for them?

How do the games compare & contrast? (Original & Shadows over Hamnerhal) Listed those3 as most interested in the gym aspect of which the original is capable of but Silver Tower is not.though maybe is better to as on the SOH board. I love the original Warhammer Quest (WHQ) and Silver Tower (ST) and Shadows Over Hammerhal (SOH). In regards to the dungeon crawling aspect I would probably give to SOH because it's fast and simple to learn and has a lot of variation.

It does require a GM, and that's a turn off for a lot of people. Personally, I love that aspect. The town phase isn't as fleshed out as WHQ and the character leveling and advancement is a LOT more limited than in WHQ. ST is probably my least favorite of the bunch, but I think a lot of that is personal preference and enjoying how specific things can be with a GM. Since ST is fully co-op, the secrets are made more generically since they are either tied to a specific location card or a dice roll.

The character progression is the worst of the bunch and there is no town phase, which makes perfect sense thematically but still makes me sad. ST being my least favorite of these three is far from a negative, though: this is one of my top favorite series of all time, so being the worst of the best group still makes you super fantastic! The original is SO MUCH GAME! You have a full co-op mode, a full GM mode, so many variations to everything that you can just pick and choose what to use, and seemingly endless expansions that will bankrupt you with today's prices if you are a completionist.

As much as I love this, the dungeon crawling aspect in the co-op version is probably my least favorite part about it. The character building and expansion is great, and the town phase offers so many options, but the dungeon crawl for co-op is just too random and doesn't have enough character. You draw random tiles and random cards and roll dice for random effects. Then you place a pile of figures and roll a bunch of dice. I love rolling a bunch of dice, but after a while if playing solo it got to be a bit much for me. If not in solo, with the right group, either co-op or with a GM can be a blast.
