I also did not ask for posts like yours that crap in a good thread for getting a legal registered version to have a poster brag how they ignore the license terms and decide to instead break the rules that normal society follows like it is something to be proud of and it is not. Test AVG by making a new.empty. text document (New Text Document.txt) and rename it to 'test.rar.exe' or 'test.rar.com' and now scan the folder or drive where the file is located at and see what it does. Anyway, Bottom Line the file 'download-rarkey.rar.exe' is safe. Run the file, then close the two windows that it opens (just ignore them and hit the X in the upper right corner).
That just extracts a file named 'rarkey.rar' into a new folder/subfolder it creates on C: called 'C: Downloads Simtel ' which contains the needed registration file named 'rarreg.key' inside the RAR file. You just copy/paste into the C: Program Files WinRAR Folder after extracting it. That is how the program gets registered. See the images for extra assistance if needed.

Biggest one being that the file does not open, and seems larger than it should be for a simple key. If I could somehow magically download the correct key file, legally, and for no cost, sure, I might as well. I'm simply seeing if anyone else here is seeing what I am.
